Cummins DCEC serieko sorgailu multzoekin hornitutako Cummins motorrak errendimendu bikainagatik, iraunkortasunagatik eta erregai-eraginkortasunagatik ezagunak dira.Motor hauek trinkoak dira eta potentzia handiko irteera dute, eta hainbat aplikaziotarako ezin hobeak dira.
Cummins DCEC serieko sorgailu multzoak kontrol-sistemaren funtzionamendu-tentsioa 24VDC-koa da.Horrek sorgailuaren funtzionamendu egonkorra eta eraginkorra bermatzen du, potentzia gorabeherak saihesten ditu eta elikadura hornidura fidagarria bermatzen du.
